VSM@2.0 Improved Structure & QoL


Dialogue System Update

In this update I improved the entire structure of the VSM and provide it with more data centered approach.

This works like an entirely new package, thus I renamed it as 2.0. Previous version will be available due to that being more stable and looking better. However I strongly recommend you to use 2.0 version from now on.

What's improved?

  • Ctrl + S now works! In addition to ctrl + z and ctrl + y!!!
  • Graph is now located as Vertical to look familiar for those using similar packages.
  • Articy import is enabled! (Twine import is on the way)
  • Choice Node and a lot of unnecessary nodes removed, instead we can now bind outputs to multiple nodes. (Which means it's a choice node, I think that sounds cool)
  • For those who like the previous nodes you can still create your own nodes in this version as well so go on with it if you like.
  • VSM folder can now be placed in the anywhere in the Project Files. Because We have a settings window!!  yay! :D
  • For additional improvement, when we selected the Nodes on the Graph we can now see their additional data on the Unity Inspector. So we don't have to expose all the variables in the graph. Instead we can use Unity's default inspector features for our Nodes.
  • Data is simplified, we can easily check and edit the base Data of the VSM from it's Data file now. It's simplified a lot!
  • Constant Variables from Logics can be set!

  • An Event System where we can define events and related node will appear for it.
